The Veteran's Choice program allows these men and women to receive care with a non-VA provider of their choosing. You may be eligible for the program if: (1) you have VA health care and have been or will wait more than 30 days for VA medical care; (2) the medical treatment you need is not offered by the VA; (3) you live more than 40 miles away from a VA provider; (4) you have specific issues that would make travel difficult.
